Meet Anthony - Couture Grounds

Just another kid and a lawnmower…. Anthony started cutting lawns in his neighboorhood. He loved working outside, meeting new people and learning lots of new skills.

Learning while staying connected to landscaping…. Upon graduating High School, Anthony attended West Chester University to pursue a degree in Communications. During his time at W.C.U Anthony continued doing work in the landscape field. He worked for a local landscape company, and even took Horticultural and Functional Design classes at Rutgers University and Longwood Gardens.

Time to take the leap…. After a couple years of working for another landscape company with a focus on landscape maintenance and smaller projects, Anthony was ready to start his own business. “I wanted to put my design and communcations backgrounds to use, and help people create their dream outdoor living spaces. I’m thrilled to be a part of what makes West Chester such a beautiful place to live for so many people.”

During the day, you can find Anthony running the day-to-day operations, visiting job sites and meeting with new and existing customers.

A couple of my favorite projects.

I love the way this Gladwyne project turned out. The homeowner wanted a “cool reason” to use the lower part of his yard. This project includes a large putting green, paver patio and fire pit.

This outdoor living space in West Chester was so fun to be a part of. The pool and pavillion are the main anchors of the space, but the outdoor fireplace and tv keep you outside all night.

We hired Anthony and his team to completely clear out our overgrown backyard, and install a custom patio with fresh sod. Anthony was on site several times prior to the project helping us understand our options and the project scope. Once work started, the team was on site on time each morning. Work was finished two days ahead of schedule, and all materials and equipment were cleaned from both the back of the house and the front. We had an exceptional experience with Couture Grounds and would absolutely seek them out for any future projects.

Couture Grounds and Anthony are one of the best outliving door living businesses I ever came across. They will take time to go over your project from start to finish, extremely detail oriented and an oversell pleasure to work with. I will be recommending Anthony and his company to ALL my friends and family.

Anthony and his team replaced our 35+ year massive deck and retaining walls. Working with them was great from bid to completion. Anthony was quick to answer all questions and make sure even little problems were resolved quickly. This was a very large project that took 2 teams of 3 to 6 each to complete over 6 weeks. They worked efficiently and with great pride in their work.

Anthony and the crew totally renovated our backyard. The way it looked before and the way the space looked and felt after was transformative. The details and advice during the project and just the collaboration were first rate. Anthony added to this space in so many ways - everyone who comes into the area say the say thing - this is amazing work and a beautiful outdoor living space. Well done Anthony and we continue to utilize his services.
